Annual Picnic
Our Annual Picnic is our Family event of the year. It's usually on the 4th Sunday in August at the Eagles Aerie Picnic Grove and Pavilion at Woodside Lane off of Route 28 in Bridgewater (Finderne) NJ. Picnic starts at noon to 6pm, and its held Rain or Shine. Music is by the Willie Lynch Trio and St Ann's of Hampton Pipe & Drums. We also have performances by the Peter Smith School of Irish Dancing. There's plenty to eat ( hamburgers, hot dogs, roast beef, corn, salads)and of plenty to drink (Smithwick's and Harp beer, Lite beer, and birch soda). We have organized games and crafts for the kids. At the picnic, we honor a member with our Outstanding Service Award plus other members with our Shamrock award.
Our picnic is worked by all volunteers. Help is needed before the picnic setting up tables and cooks are needed for 1 hour assignments during the picnic. If you want to help or have questions about the picnic, please email the chairman. Order Form for picnic tickets will be posted on our web site in July.
